Include Everyone Project of Santa Clarita Valley

Scholarship Grant Policy

Revised and Approved by IEPSCV Board of Directors

Revised 2024

The mission of Include Everyone Project (IEPSCV) is to provide creative spaces that encourage all members of the community to come together while embracing those with disabilities. We support our disabled artists’ social and emotional growth while encouraging them to explore and learn all aspects of the arts in a supportive, positive, and inclusive environment.  Simultaneously, we strive to provide a respite of support, self-care, and socialization for the people who love them.

To accomplish this mission, IEPSCV utilizes its resources to promote inclusion in the performing arts community and greater community as a whole, through services such as performing art classes and camps for all abilities, self-care workshops and classes for caregivers, social events that are inclusive and strengthen community, and support and resources to our disabled community.

Include Everyone Project of Santa Clarita Valley has limited funding with which to support the growing number of individuals with disabilities and their families throughout the Santa Clarita Valley. It is IEPSCV’s policy to use its funds to best impact and support the greatest number of children.

IEPSCV has provided camp scholarships since 2019 to help family members in the Santa Clarita Valley send their child, youth, or adult child to one of our Inclusive Camp Programs. Interested families may qualify for a Camp Scholarship or Adaptive Performing Arts Class Scholarship if 1) they are the parent or primary caregiver of the child/youth/adult child with a developmental disability; 2) they have considerable financial need that would otherwise prohibit the participant from attending the Camp/Class session; and 3) they can commit to attending a minimum of 80% of the program days. ( Inability to attend the minimum 80% of program days will result in denial of any future scholarship requests); Fill out the application form and email to IEPSCV no less than 30 days prior to the first day of camp/ session.

Requests for a IEPSCV Camp Scholarship or Class Scholarship must be emailed to the Executive Director, Kristen Debenedetto at kristen.iepscv@gmail.com a minimum of 30 days before the start of the Program, to ensure that IEPSCV’s scholarship committee has enough time to fully review the request and provide a decision.
